To be
To be in love with freedom is to call yourself a stranger to this earth
For a bird is never out of its cage for an age

Times up, but i wish it wasnt
It doesn't matter anymore i guess everything happens for a reason. tears eventually fade and one day everything will be exactly that way it was supposed to be but moving on is a progress and you have to promise that you are really ready to let go.

So called
You were that so called friend who was supposed to be there for me. The one I was looking for when I was in pain. The one I was looking for when I was down. Now look who needs me

No poem
I looked at them so happy, so compasionate, so... in love. I felt something I had never felt before, something so foul, I felt jealous. Jealous of them, of what they had. I wanted that. I wanted someone who would hold me, kiss me. I want someone that will make me happy at just the thought of them. Someone that will look at me as if i'm the only girl they'll ever love. I want someone that won't be afraid to show the world that he wants me, that he loves me. I want a guy like the one in front of me, like the one holding his girlfriend's hand. I want someone like him, I want to be... in love.

Homecoming Dance (story not a poem)
You should have been at the homecoming dance. I was having a good time till I saw one of my best friends dancing with my ex! I thought to myself, how could she do this to me? We'd been friends since we were young. She knew I still had feelings for him. All I could think about was how he told me I was no longer the type of girl he wanted to be with. But yet he's with her? We're so much alike. We're practically sisters!
I make a run for the bathroom before I start to cry. Adrianna notices something is wrong and follows me to the bathroom. She asks "What happened? Why are you crying?" I reply between tears "I saw him dancing with one of my close friends. How could he do this to me? More importantly how can she do this to me?" Adri tells me "Steph, you have to just get over him. He's not coming back. I know it hurts to hear that. He's already moved on. And you should too. He's not worth your tears. I think to myself if only she knew just how much I still care for him.
