In the blink of eye she is gone,
There one minute and gone the next,
Taken from the ones she loves,
By a stranger with a cold stone heart.
Tears and heartache, a mother on her knees,
Police will be searching night and day,
Televisions will show the parents pleas,
That there little girl will soon be home.
"Darling, we miss you and want you here,
We will never give up looking for you,
And if you are holding our little princess,
We beg you to think what we're going through"
Whether she's found, no-one yet knows,
But the world will pray for her safe return,
Although I do not blame the parents,
From their mistake I hope others will learn.
