Banished from innocence

Immersed in insecurities
Engulfed in tears
Imprisoned from happiness
Terrorised by fears
Outside a smile
Inside a cry
Both don't comprehend
Life is like a lie
Family and friends
Promises they've made
No one ever comes
I just slowly fade
Insulted and humiliated
Storming with rage
Angry so frustrated
Trapped in this endless phase
Suffering in silence
Invisible to the world
Left dying in the darkness
The demons slowly unfurl
Residing in hell
Living in pain
Disguised by lies
Just going insane
Chained in prison
Tortured and abused
Begging for mercy
Rejected and confused
Fighting for a meaning
Screaming for normality
Longing for an answer
Just sick of this brutality
Caged from the world
It's only for the depressed
Lets rot in these cells
There's nothing left to express
Unable to breathe
Unable to see
Just ripped and torn
Desperate to be free
Soaked in despair
Drenched in agony
Paralysed in a reality
That isn't meant to be
