There are many reasons why we enter into all kinds of Relationships,some enter into Relationship just to indulge in the pleasures of this world,but i believe we're looking for something better,something called love.So i have to ask myself,how would anyone truly know what love is,would they know how to handle it,how to show it,have they even experienced true love?Truth is love can only be known through God for He LOVED us so much that He gave His ONLY son to die for us.GOD IS LOVE.
I consider myself to be somewhat spiritually mature in faith,but it took me a very long time to know the true meaning of love and i can honestly say that i still have a lot to learn.Love is not butterflies in your stomach,not lust,not he/she makes me laugh,love is more than a feeling,its a connection,a r/ship.When you say i love God,you mean i am connected/i have a Relationship with God,when you say i really love God what you are saying is that I'm really connected with God/i have a really strong Relationship with Him.It takes time to develop a Relationship,it takes time to truly love something or someone.Love is judged according to how much you love someone when you 1st met them as compared to how you feel about that person now.U Should love God more now than you loved Him when you 1st met Him,you should love someone more now as compared to when you 1st met them.If you're in a Relationship ask yourself that question,do you love more now than before,or did you love more then as compared to now.Then ask yourself,how can you love less now when you know more.We need to learn a lot more about love before entering into a Relationship.
Now anything that causes you to lust and fall into temptation or sin should be cut off.That means that if being in a relationship causes you to sin then you should cut it off.Ask yourself this question,in the Relationship you're in,does the other person encourage you to live righteously or unrighteously,even without them knowing?That is do they do something that causes you to sin,intentional or unintentional?What standard of righteousness am i talking about,the standard that was set for us,the Word of God,which is in the HOLY bible.
If you Didn't know the meaning of love,how to give,how to receive it,if you cant be in that Relationship without sinning as a result of that Relationship,if you love less and less as you know more and more about that person then i suggest you rethink being in that Relationship.If you're not ready for marriage then why are you in a Relationship with a far from perfect human being who will sin on his best day and hurt you without even knowing it.Learn to love,1st,by receiving the love from Jesus,give that love as He gives it to you,learn from the Master of Love Himself.If you're already in a Relationship and you're finding it hard to love why don't you try strengthening the love between yourself and God,IE,strengthen your connection/Relationship with God.I believe we would all find it easier to love if we only took the time to know LOVE.Don't forget God is LOVE,without God there is no LOVE.Without LOVE what is there?
