It's impossible to sneak around in this house
It's impossible for even a mouse
Every door and step creaks
Every toy I step on squeak
It's impossible to sneak around in this house!

Lord knows I've tried
Escaping this place of boredom
But it never fails,
That when I'm almost out the door
I step on a stupid nail

This house is really old
You shouldn't walk around without shoes
For you never know what you'll step on
You never know what's beneath your toes

We have termites, and ants,
Leaking and floods,
The stupid house salesman
Sold us a dud

I can't live here much longer
Everything is such a mess
In every corner, every crack
You'll find handfuls of little pests
We have a daddy mouse
Living in my room
But I smacked it with a broom
It's impossible,
To sneak around in this house (Which means; No sneaking out to parties, No mid-night snacks, No eloping, No egging the neighbors house, No meeting friends, and a lot more)
