Snot Funny
I have a cold,
my nose is runny.
My eyes are red.
My voice sounds funny.
I sneeze and wheeze
and hack all day.
My skin feels hot.
My face looks gray.
I blow my nose
and spit up flem.
Five seconds later
I do it again.
I took two aspirin
and a bicarb of soda.
If it will help,
I have no iota
All I eat
is toast and tea.
Toast makes me cough.
Tea makes me pee.
They say a cold,
lasts seven days or a week.
The end of this damn thing
is what I seek.
My friends all say
I have grounds to sue.
Because I got this thing
from kissin you.
