Getting everything set,
Pulling out paper and crayons.
About to create a masterpiece,
As he sits down and flexes his hands.
He begins with laser lemon,
Then cyan and red.
Granny smith apple for the ground,
As he uses peach for their heads.
Mixing blue and black,
He creates the night sky.
Yellow spots for the stars,
As he uses white for the twinkle in their eyes.
Finishing up with them holding hands,
He drew two lovers beneath the stars.
All it took were some paper and crayons,
Imagination can go so far.
