She was quiet,
a million things
Running through her mind
Nothing would stop them
And nothing could stop them showing.
They all wanted to occupy her head
They wanted to be alone,
Alone in her mind.

All she wanted was silence
Silence from all the screaming voices in her head,
She wanted them to stop.
She could feel her eyes drying up
Ready to cry.
Everywhere she looked,
She saw faces
Faces saying things,
Screaming along with the voices.

It was all too much,
She was losing all hope.
All faith,
Any love for the life she??d once had,
It had all gone?
Nothing was going the way it
Was meant to be.
Every wall was falling down,
Crashing down around her,
Like never thought possible.

She had changed,
Not necessarily for the better,
But she had changed?

-----------------------------------
She was the love of his life.
She was his light
She showed him through the stormy nights.
He had seen the change in her,
He had seen her go from
The girl who always smiled,
The girl who brightened every room she walked in.
To a girl,
So lost,
So alone,
That she covered her pain with a smile.

The hurt in her eyes now showed to him,
He could see it,
In her face
In her smile,
In her arms,
And worst in her wrists...

He hurt too,
He wanted her to tell him everything,
He wanted her to know how she felt.
He wanted her to love him,
For her to feel
Just like he felt about her.

He knew she did not think he meant it
When he said he loved her,
Or when he said he would never leave her.
But it did not change how she how felt.
It did not stop the thoughts in her head.
It did not stop the fact that she knew she was hurting him,
Just as much as she was hurting herself.

The last thing he wanted,
Was for her to hurt.
Especially because of him,
Especially because of herself.
He loved the person she was,
But the person she was becoming
Was not the one he had fallen in love with.

He wanted to see that twinkle in her eyes,
That grin that showed she was planning.
Just to see her smile became a struggle.
He did not want to leave her,
But he thought it would make her happy,
That it would take the pain away from her head.
He did not realise that if he left,
She would lose the one thing keeping her alive,
The only thing that made her life go on,
He was the only thing that truly
mattered to her.

----------------------------------------

It was the last thing she ever wanted,
To see him in pain.
She tried to make him leave,
She tried to push him away.

And that is what hurt them both the most!
