Not too long after realising who your true love is you'll have to meet his mother.
I'm sure she's nice and sweet
But I'll be nervous, too
Not knowing what his mother's like

To meet this parents and hope they don't stare.
Because the first time you meet his parents, you need to make a good impression
Don't worry, you will not muck it up
His parents only want to know what you do for a living and what your hobbies are
Be sure to tell them if you like to party and would go for a beer at the bar.*
I'm nervous cause I'm meeting my true love's parents in November
I kept saying "why don't we leave it a little longer."
But I knew that one day, I'd meet his parents
As sure as I am, I'm still that tiny bit nervous
First time I thought of meeting his parents at his birthday scared me
Because I want to show them I am happy and full of glee.
No sign of sadness or nervousness to be shown
It will be as if they never existed, like they were unknown.

That's what I'm going to try and do with my true love's parents.
