Somewhere theres a man
Thinking of his child
Wanting to hold his wife
He may be thousands of miles away
But his family is kept in his heart
He hopes he'll make it until tomorrow
Boots laced up
Gun at his side
This soldier stands with pride
He knows this may be his last day alive
And his time may soon come
To leave this land behind
Oh how it brings tears to his eyes
But he will risk his life
For all of us to be free
Because someone has to stand up
For this red white and blue we see.
