Roses are red,
Noses are pink,
Early in winter,
He gave me a wink.

Roses are red,
His heart fed veins blue,
his lips said he loved me,
Told him i loved YOU.

Roses are red,
My eyes are now black,
he may have hit me,
but i'll hit him back.

Roses are red,
his face turning blue,
i have a hand on his neck,
my love, so do you.

Roses are red,
like our beating hearts,
No black-hearted fool
to tear us apart.

4 years later...

Roses are red,
they sit in my vase,
As the alarm clock beeps,
and i wake to your face.

roses are red,
just like your chair,
i sit in your lap,
you play with my hair.

roses are red,
like the gloss on my lips,
and my lips meet yours,
your hands on my hips.

Roses are red,
the sunrise is bright,
we spend the day cudd'ling,
and into the night...

roses are red,
the moon is so blue,
i'm closing my eyes,
saying "babe, i love you."

Roses are red,
like our beating hearts,
No black-hearted fool
to tear us apart.
