Roses are red, violets are blue
Sugar is sweet and so are you.
However;
The roses are wilting
The violets are dead.
"The heart was meant to be broken"
And that's what you said.
My eyes filled with tears
As you walked away
I thought always and forever you'd stay.
But as i watched you didn't stop
I fell to the ground as my whole life dropped.
This is a lesson to me
That forever isn't meant to be.
