[This poem is about my recent break up, it sucked and it still hurts...and to make things worse, we had been best friends for liek a yearbefore we started going out, and yea he hurt me pretty bad, and now were no were near as close as we were...i hope u like the poem its not great, but i had to get it off my chest]
You looked contently at me,
'My beautiful girl,' you said
Love in your eyes I could see
As you lay next to me in bed
'We survived a whole four weeks'
'But we'll last so much longer'
You bent and kissed my cheeks
You made my heart feel stronger
Each subtle touch, skin upon skin,
Each longing stare;
Would make my world begin to spin
All it took was for you to be there
Now I glance upon your handsome face,
The one Ive grown so used to
And the feelings I cannot seem to erase
Leave me aching for you
How could something so right,
Turn out so wrong?
How could a love so bright,
Have been a lie all along?
