I'm writing this poem for you,
So that you know how much you are appreciated and admired.
Not only by me,
But by all of the students in this school.
It's rare to find a teacher like you.
A teacher who comes to school
Not only to receive a pay cheque at the end of the week,
But to make a difference in the students' lives.
There's something about you that makes you different from the others.
At first i thought it was your beautiful smile,
Maybe the look in your eyes that had me hypnotized.
Eventually i realized it's your passion for helping others.
The way you noticed something was wrong,
The very first time you saw me sitting there.
You have a natural ability to teach
And to affect your students in positive ways.
Trying to figure you out is simply impossible.
There's something mysterious about you
You've got all the girls falling for you,
And all the others admiring you.
You've confused me like crazy,
With your views about life and big vocabulary.
Your ability to make me cry by telling me you were hospitalized
And the image of perfection you've left by my side.
In the end i still want to thank you
Not only or being a great teacher,
But for being an incredible person as well
Who has had a huge impact on my life.
I don't know much about you,
But i know the type of person you are
And that type of person deserves nothing but happiness,
Which is exactly what i hope you find.
